An AI companion app for long-term dreams: chat, small steps, a journal, and memory that stays with the user.
Kelak is an AI companion app. Users talk with a civet character about a long-term dream. The app stores that story, suggests one small step at a time, and keeps a journal and timeline of the journey.
Long-term goals can be hard to carry when progress is slow. Most productivity apps respond by asking people to do more. Kelak does the opposite. It is a calm place to return to a dream, remember why it started, and take one small step when ready.
The central character is Kelak, a small civet who sits beside a campfire and listens. Kelak remembers what users share across conversations, journal entries, check-ins, and milestones. AI makes those replies personal. The companion responds to a person's own story instead of generic encouragement.
Core experience
The Meadow. A living illustrated landscape that changes through the day, from dawn to deep night. Each completed small step adds a firefly to the sky. The interface is a place to breathe, not another dashboard.
Small Steps. Kelak suggests one tiny action connected to the user's dream. Each action takes about one to three minutes. Users can change the suggestion or stop at any time. There are no streaks to protect.
Chat with Kelak. Users can talk about how the dream feels. Kelak can remember earlier conversations and journal entries, so replies grow with the journey. After several days away, Kelak can start with a quiet welcome back.
Dream Timeline. A visual record of the journey. It shows milestones already reached and future chapters with no deadline. The timeline is a record of progress, not a schedule.
Letters. Letters from the version of yourself who kept going. Some are available from the start. Others are generated around the user's dream and story.
Hope Journal. A private space to write moments when belief in the dream returned. Each entry becomes part of Kelak's long-term picture of the journey.
Dream Check-in. One question: do you still believe this is possible? The aim is reflection, not performance.
Welcome Back. After a long absence, Kelak welcomes the user. Absence is not a failure. The focus is a return to the journey.
